What is Target Zone Feeding?
A targeted approach to deep root feeding pioneered by Nature’s Pro.
Target Zone Feeding concentrates nutrients within the first 5–7 feet of the tree trunk, where a large amount of the tree’s absorptive roots are located.

The process uses double the concentration rate while applying only 20% of the normal application rate, allowing nutrients to be quickly utilized by the tree.
Why It Works
Nature’s Pro Bio-Tree & Shrub has low salt and chloride indexes, it can be used at the concentrated rate required for Target Zone Feeding without damaging delicate absorptive root hairs.

2x CONCENTRATION
Concentrates nutrition where it is needed.

20% APPLICATION RATE
Uses substantially less mixture.

5–7 FT TARGET ZONE
Focuses treatment where many absorptive roots are located.
Not every fertilizer can be used this way. Many products applied at these concentrations can burn microscopic root hairs and actually damage tree health.
When Target Zone Feeding Makes Sense

MOre Efficient Application
One Tank. Five Time the Treatment Capacity.

While there is some savings in material costs, the greatest efficiency comes from reduced labor. Target Zone Feeding eliminates the need to make hundreds of injection points throughout the entire canopy area.
Targeted Feeding Has a Trade-Off.

Bio-Tree & Shrub provides more than nutrients. It also provides soil conditioners, growth stimulators, support for critical soil biology and soil disease preventatives.
Treating the entire canopy area extends these benefits throughout more of the tree's soil and root system.
That's why Nature's Pro recommends combining both approaches.

A Better Long-Term Strategy

Then repeat the cycle.
This gives customers the efficiency of Target Zone Feeding while periodically providing the broader soil-system benefits of treating the entire canopy area.
